Where is Tashari?
Where am I? Running around a bit. I have been finding the time to paint (an out of date sneak peek of my current works in progress is on my website, I'll try and update the capture, soon), to read, and see some friends.
The heat has been getting to me. I'm all bleh halfway into my morning walk.
The kittens are as cute as ever.
And my computer is broken. Again. CPU fan this time. At least an easy to replace part. And inexpensive. Still, that urge to get a minimac is upon me (I may play upon my current painting series as a t-shirt design for Threadless when I can find the time/energy). But really, I don't use the computer much. I read webcomics in the morning, and I check e-mail a couple times a day, and in the evening, I use it as a way to unwind from my day, watching silly videos on You Tube or something. I use it to play music, and audio books. And it is my source for reference material for my paintings on a semi-regular basis. I just need it to be there when I want it.
I feel like time is still passing me by quickly. Weddings all over the place, and me just wanting to find more time to paint, and get a jump on that prospective art career of mine. I'd like to sew another dress for Arisia, too, but I think I won't worry about that 'til after Halloween. Last year that wasn't a problem, and this year I won't have a corset and hoop skirt to make.
Speaking of Halloween, consider this an in-advance warning that I'm hosting a party once again, this year. Last year nothing happened, and I felt at a loss, and I decided then that I'd have a party this year. The old house rule applies. No costume, and you have to have your photo taken while wearing the one-size-fits-all barwench dress from Walmart (anybody who does have a costume is still allowed to partake of this custom). And nobody is allowed to take it into the woods, or anywhere else, for sex this year.
