Current music:Einstürzende Neubauten - Stella Maris

yeah, still haven't fixed/rotated any of my photos yet.
I had an awesome, kickass weekend.
A smallish party happened Friday night in Puffton for Pete and Val. I was glad I got to see some people I haven't seen in a while (and may not for a while yet) like Eric (who talked cameras with Mike), and Allie and Dan.
I got Pete the ThinkGeek shirt saying "There are only 10 types of people in the world: Those who understand binary, and those who don't." and Chez Geek 3, and Val a tank top with "Talk Nerdy To Me" on it. ^_-
ellF drove Pete and I into town Saturday, where I met with my folks, and then went wandering in Porter with Pete. Finally got to Sasuga Bookstore, though their prices for what I was looking for were higher than Asahiya Bookstore by Grand Central (who I hear are closing, damn! And I was hoping to get some stuff there next time I made it to NY, alas.. maybe I should go to their Californian store). I've got my eyes on the MKR manga (which have been reprinted! But I still think the old copies are nicer), and various CLAMP artbooks.
Anyhow, went to Pink Stucco eventually, after a detour in a Lego store.
I wish I'de been artsier, but most of the photos I took were in bad lighting conditions while I was sitting on a bouncy couch.
Highlights of the evening:
Seeing cool people.
Meeting people from #Pugglewump.
Reclining on people on couches.
People wearing nifty clothing.
Pretty light on Kris' face (blurry) and back.
Shotglass Chess, which was Steve, Katie, and myself, against Frommy, Pete, and Kris. A very amusing division of teams. We won. ^_- I had 5 shots, one of which was thankfully buttershots (so tasty!). Don't believe it had much of an effect though, as I had been eating pizza and cookies in the middle.
Strip Twister. Sorry, no photos. I don't want to incriminate/embarass anyone. I'll just say it was a riot. People falling over naked on a plastic sheet. ^^ (Actually, I have one nicely sensored image I'm getting permission to post. Andrea do either you or Nea mind?)
Ice cream cake with sparklers.
Hearing about people's running-away-from-cops-while-lighting-fireworks stories.
And, of course, to end the evening, drunken Katie looking cute.

Today, Pete, Steve, and I went to Harvard Square briefly, where some of us aquire more goodies, and then we parted ways with Steve to get a ride home with Mike/Val. I had a most comfortable ride in the bask seat, my head back, eyes closed with a smile, the wind in my face and my hair, and Funker Vogt in my ears. I dozed off a bit, extremely relaxed. ^.^

Things to do:
Make an effort to take nicer, more interesting photos.
ASHURA COSTUME.
Art for current commission.
Prereg for Otakon.
Ask for the 8th off work.
See Pirates of the Caribbean.
E-mail ThinkGeek in regards to the rolling of the two Broken Miko posters I ordered. They were creased, and thereby have white lines on the front in some places. I don't want to have to deal with sending them back.. but I at least want to bring it to their attention to roll them better.

a Lego store

What and where is this mystical magical sounding place you speak of? Does involve a trodden journey with a magical ring to get there?

It is in Waltham. On Moody street, by the bridge, and T stop. ^_-
But if you can make a ring out of legos, and speak a particular incantation, you might just get there!

hehe..someones away message says:

there are 10 types of people in this world.
those who can read binary and those who cant, which is similar to what you said..

grrr, memorizing binary is a pain in the ass >.O

i dont really like clamp, maybe its because im not into the shoujo/shounen manga types.

You don't even need to be able to read it. So long as you understand it, and how it works, you see that "00" is 0, "01" is 1, and "10" is 2. Or something like that.
I like a huge array of manga. What I like about CLAMP though is more the art. MKR is cute, but my favorite is RG Veda. Dark, bloody. And gorgeous.
